5 feb build - camera cropping images #324

Phone (Int/AT&T/etc.): atrix G4
Radio: n_01.77.30p
CM Release (NO NIGHTLIES!): cm 7.2
Hacks/Mods used:
Kernel: 2.6.32.56

What is the expected behavior?

image as-viewed in finder should be same as saved image

What is the actual behavior?

Image is cropped by ~20% linear along bottom edge and right edge

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Take photo
2. compare saved image to viewfinder
3. PROFIT! 

Can you reproduce this problem after a complete wipe/factory reset? (do not
restore any apps or settings when testing)

Yes

Possible workarounds:

plan for the trimming/cropping when taking photo

Note: Jan 22 build didn't exhibit this problem

update:

It turns out the images are stored full size and the whole image is visible as 
thumbnail and transmits but is cropped in the gallery view ... annoying but 
less serious than what I'd thought before.

Confirmed in both Feb 5 build and last Jan build.

Workaround could be to use an alternative gallery viewer...?

Err, the only gallery replacement I found was a pay-for version, I'll wait for 
a fix I think.

The problem is in the camera -- I updated to the Feb 20 build and new photos 
didn't have the issue while those taken under Feb 5 still did.

On reverting to Feb 5 - see new issue - new photos are again cropped on right 
and bottom and those taken on prior feb 5 install are also.

minor issue anyhow.
