Standardize gitignore #15

The motivation for this PR is to standardize .gitignore by using gitignore.io

Why should a .gitignore file contain all those unneeded exclusions? Instead of 2 lines the new file has nearly 500 lines.

It was an effort to standardize across the different platforms and environments that are possible to use with this repo. However, to keep to your standards I'll close this.
