Goal
The goal is to extract the data about grapevine accessions conserved in the Armenian National Grapevine Collection.
Tasks
The entry point for this task is the Armenian Vitis Database listing grapevine varieties and their passport data (name, holding institution, accessing number, utilization, etc.). We suggest that you should collect all of them and store them in a machine readable format, such as CSV. On the grapevines pages, also tabs with tables for microsatellites for profile and ampelographic characteristics are provided. It would be perfect if you also collected them so that they could be connected to the main dataset by the id numbers. However, collecting the main tables would also be just fine.
Context
The data are from a public source that aims at discovering the genetic variation of Armenian grapevines and finding their synonyms and homonyms. As the data are public and will be shared with a proper citation, do not refrain from copying the data from the website.
Wishes
It would be best if your code is reusable, that is can be launch again by anyone who might want to update the dataset at a later point. For the same reason, we encourage you to comment your code, supplement it with at least a very brief README description, and specify the requirements and dependencies necessary to use the code.
