Hi @tdurand! Very nice! Here is some feedback for the nitty gritty details :)

General

• Framerate 6 - 10FPS
• On the very first run ODC got stuck ... 2nd run was fine though
• Is there a way to get a better confirmation on pressing the ODC buttons e.g. tactile feedback from android on press of data downloads?

Welcome

• you can't download the logs

Live view

• Labels in detection bbox look blurry, canvas seem not to be retina
• There seems to be sometimes a missing image in the background, note the icon in the top left corner and the white border (2. screenshot)

Counter

• Crash: if user does not finish setting up a counter and presses record
• Crash: if user does not finish setting up a counter and presses delete
• Text "crossing vehicles increase counter by 1" should be "crossing objects increase counter by 1"
• All buttons in left button corner should have bigger size
• Naming counter popup: OK button size is way too small
• Very hard to get for the user that you have to double click to finish setting up. Make it more verbose that one is currently in edit mode.
• Config download not working
• Counter text (number) of polygon should be centered
• While in setting up polygon counter mode, I got sometimes some blue glitches (see screenshot)
• Counter details stats: can't be read if the area of interest is close to the upper side of the screen
• Counter details stats: yes would be nice to show the most recent classes and not hard code the current 6 ones

Data

• Delete button is way too tiny
• JSON download kind of working, but ugly file names and sometimes if had to press several times the download link
• CSV download not working

Menu

• Get rid of the sticky footer
• Version string does not match the one of the android app. Idea: could you add there also some device infos? Would be nice if we could people and testers point to a place in our app where there can get platform and runtime infos.
• Tracker accuracy info popup not readable due to overlap with menu

@b-g , many thanks for testing it and putting this big list together.. I think I kind of know most of them. will work on fixing some on the next version and create smaller issues for the rest

BTW still "in review" for the official play store beta release... already 3 days.. 😒

some questions:

Framerate 6 - 10FPS

It drops to this after a bit of time correct ? I experience the same issue.. start at 15 FPS and then drop down to 6-7 because of thermal throttling, if I have the fan on it stays a bit better but drops at but some point... this it a bit the most worrying part for me as it is barely usable at those frame rate... but not much can be done besides telling user to cool the phone.. maybe will need to include a faster inference model than tinyYOLO ...

okay.. not sure what could have happen, did you get the "Unexpected Error" screen on a white background ? let's just see if you can reproduce in the next beta.

when you click on the JSON text then you should have a little "Download file" notification showing up.. not perfect I agree but this is a bit a feedback.. will see how to improve

I don't see what you mean.. but there is definitely an image missing it is a MJPEG stream that isn't render... I didn't think it visually affected..

Framerate

It seems my mobile is slower, it never goes higher than 11FPS. Will have to investigate better when the framerate drops, currently have it running on a tripod to give it some testing. Stay tuned.

No, the progress bar finished to 100% .... but then nothing happened.

Yes saw those ... but didn't feel very snappy to me, but will do for the release.
