Errors following documentation build instructions #1487

Expected behaviour

The documentation instructions should run to completion with out error.

Actual behaviour

The current instructions error out during a naive run through. I encountered a couple of errors specifically during the install of the requirements.txt. This seems like an overly extensive set of requirements for building the documentation. It seems like some of these aren't actually used for building the documentation? It would be nice to discuss what the requirements should be for building the docs.

... eg. Incorrect result, python stacktrace, etc. ...

Steps to reproduce the behaviour

Follow the current documentation build instructions.

Environment information

Tried on wsl ubuntu and native ubuntu

Hi there, I updated the setup instructions relatively recently, and didn't encounter any errors while following the build instructions. Can you please provide some more information on what errors you're encountering?
