GDAL 3.10.0 was released yesterday, so Dependabot will presumably make a PR for that soon. Considering longevity for the release, it's probably better to release after the GDAL 3.10.0 PR has been merged.
Sorry, I've spent large chunks of the past 2-3 months on the road - either on holiday or attending various conferences. Starting to prep for new 1.8 and 1.9-rc releases of OWS now.
Done.
The release of 1.8.42 (whose docker image is based on GDAL 3.8.5) was August 1, and after that there has been a number of updates that I believe are interesting for end-users. Personally I'm mainly interested in not getting all the warnings in my logs (#1038), but I would also appreciate getting the update to GDAL 3.9.x so the datacube-ows image uses the same base image as datacube-explorer/datacube-docker.
I can't judge how important they are, but after 1.8.42 there have also been fixes for WCS (#1054) and for cache-control headers (#1079), which both seem like nice improvements over the 1.8.42 release.
Would it be possible to make a 1.8.43 release soon?
