An initial discussion occurred with @wjonassen on October 23, 2024, where he did a walk through of how Selenium is leveraged for automated UI testing of the OpenDCS Web app.

The following next steps were determined:

[x] Set-up IntelliJ
[x] Set-up environment in IntelliJ to work with the opendcs_rest_api repository
[ ] Have OpenDCS Web Client and OpenDCS REST API running locally
[ ] Start writing test cases
[ ] Start writing automated tests

@adamkorynta was able to work with me to have IntelliJ and my development environment set-up.
