make create-kind-with-registry failed locally on mac #679

This used to work but I upgraded recently my docker desktop version so perhaps this is related. See attached log.

I am at Docker Desktop Version 4.9.1 (81317) and 

$ uname -spr  
Darwin 21.6.0 arm

make-create-kind-with-registry-fails.log

I found this one which appears to be similar.
