Disable OID node certs validation in transport #769

Hello,

Doing a setup via Helm and need since the auto generated node certs are valid for 10 years, I thought i could maintain them using CertManager with auto renewal. Issue is CertManager does not support OIDs yet so is there a way to disable them?
