Issues Raised by IIT Delhi - January 6, 2017 #163

Issues raised by IIT Delhi and responses given -

  1. VLABS Logo on http://vlabs.ac.in page has a logo with tag line "An MHRD initiative" which is not properly visible. It must be made bold. Status - Fixed

  2. Line on First slider "Online labs and experiments from top technology institutes" must be replaced with "Online labs and experiments from top technical institutes" Status - Fixed

  3. Remove "Take them for free" from that line Status - Fixed

  4. Registration takes time. Activation link was received after 3 days and was expired. Status - As requested can you please try to register again and check. Also, it will be great if you can send me the email which you received for registration link.

  5. No of labs and experiments are questionable. Slider 2 shows different numbers. Status - Fixed

  6. *All experiments must redirect to .vlabs.ac.in . Electrical machine IIT G is not doing it.** Status - This is because it is hosted in institutes server. A request was made to follow the guidelines and to make it accessible on institute server.

  7. vlab.co.in has reference material section for each lab/discipline. This is not there in vlabs.ac.in . Status - Fixed . It was observed that most of the labs are having empty records for both syllabus mapping and reference books. However, we have reflected the content in vlabs.ac.in as present in vlab.co.in . Also ,may we request you to confirm if the acronyms in the syllabus mapping section are as listed below so that we can reflect it on vlabs.ac.in. MDU : Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak KUK : Kurukshetra University RTU : Rajasthan Technical University,Kota UPTU : Uttar Pradesh Technical University IPU : Indraprastha University

  8. vlab.co.in has contact details of responsible person associated with lab. This is not so in vlabs.ac.in
    Status - Fixed . We have reflected the content in vlabs.ac.in as present in vlab.co.in .

  9. Lab name/institute name based search facility in vlab.co.in is not there in vlabs.ac.in Status - Work in progress

  10. Lab assessment form does not open. Status - Lab assessment form is taken from vlab.co.in . It does not open in vlab.co.in too.

  11. There must be an announcement/news feed section for recent activities. Status - This section has been added to the footer and content as in vlab.co.in is reflected here.

  12. Replace "Partner Institutes" with "Participating Institutes" Status - Fixed

  13. IIT BOMBAY is to be replaced with IIT Bombay Status - Fixed

  14. Categorise nodal centres in outreach on the basis of either Alphabetical, institute wise or any other pattern. Status - Fixed

  15. Virtual Electrical Machine IITG must be there in Electrical Engineering discipline and not in Electronics and Communications Status -- We receive hosting requests on Engineers forum. All the parameters are given by Institute developed the lab. Please visit the Phase 2 lab info sheet for reference.
