Your issue content here. edx upgrade notification is a real nag-drag - coming up for me in between EVERY segment of a few minutes long. How to stop it?

Hello, this sounds it is an issue that should go to the support staff for the openedx instance you are using and not as a complaint about the documentation, which is what these issues are meant to track. Are you saying there is a bug in the software that is preventing you from disabling notifications?
