ORA for Self-paced courses

ORA still designed for instructor lead courses, what could it look like to develop them more for self paced courses?

The two main issues we run into in self-paced courses with ORAs are:

• The "last 5 people" issue, where the last few learners in the course always have to get hand-graded.
• The lack of notifications means that for many learners it's a "fire and forget" activity. They're never prompted to go back to it.

+1 on notifications.

And just anecdotally most faculty I work with are willing, even in large courses, to give feedback either to the last stragglers and/or a paid track. A way to see what learners have been left ungraded for a while would be a step in that direction. I don't have a good answer on what "a while" is, obviously different in different situations.
