These 3 tickets are being wrapped up into a broader achitectural conversion about plugins vs custom links. That decision will influence the direction for these tickets. Until that strategy is resolved, these are on hold. See here: https://discuss.openedx.org/t/plugin-slots-vs-configuration/13009
