2020 General Election Precinct Results

List of county websites here, and source files we've collected are found here.

The goal is to create a single CSV file for each county, with the following headers:

county, precinct, office, district, party, candidate, votes

If the county file also provides a breakdown of votes by method, include that using the following headers, as applicable:

early_voting, election_day, provisional, absentee, federal

The filename should be 20201103__ny__general__{county}__precinct.csv, where {county} is the name of the county in lower case.

Include the following offices:

Lewis has told us the countywide official numbers are out of date and the precinct results are correct.

trump has 8,894 on the official results but 8,890 in this data

biden has 3,824 on the official results but 3,823 in this data

trump has 13,898 on the state results, 13,897 on the county results, and 13,348 in this data

biden has 5,073 on the state results, 5,073 on the county results, and 4,283 in this data

biden has 267 on the state results, 267 on the county results, and 247 in this data

pierce has 93 on the state results, 93 on the county results, and 84 in this data

hawkins has 63 on the state results, 63 on the county results, and 57 in this data
