partial 1988 data from openelections-sources-wv/1988 kanawha county #17

This is the data for President, U.S. Senate, and U.S. House. There is a minor issue.

The sums calculated from the precincts (using spreadsheet functions) do not match those in the document (at openelections-sources-wv/1988) in both of the U.S. House elections. All other elections match ok. I have included the calculated sums instead of the ones listed in the document. I hope I only made a mistake somewhere inputting numbers, but I've checked it many times and I have found no errors.

I'm not sure if there is a policy either way, but my guess would be that I did the correct thing. If there is a way to notate a difference from the source file, please let me know for future reference.

Hi @tomcuchta, thanks! If there are errors in the data like those you describe, it's our policy to fix totals in the manner you did. I would just create an issue on this repository noting that and what you did.
