Matt 3:7 awkward "however" #112

Matt 3:7 now reads: "When, however, John saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees coming" It seems that "however" is trying to be the tanslation of the greek word "de" http://biblos.com/matthew/3-7.htm

Most other translations seem to handle this by saying: "But when John saw..." which seems like more natural current English.
