As in Mark 1:6 - should existing uses of 'round' be changed to 'around'?

Thanks to DJHugger

Both are strictly speaking correct but 'round' in this sense is less common in U.S. English:

Perhaps the best solution is to preserve the current rendering in the Commonwealth English version and change it in the U.S. English version?

This same issue also occurs in Mark 1:33:

"and the whole city was gathered round the door."
