I never work with Crowdin nor Github Actions. Do you have examples of crowdin globalisation files ?

teolemon commented 3 years ago

The two links above are the config files needed by Crowdin. You need to change the path, and it should work with whatever l10n file is standard for browser extensions. Chrome has a framework for l10n it seems: https://developer.chrome.com/docs/extensions/reference/i18n/

Why openfoodfacts is on Crowdin I never understood. It is just the opposite of Weblate in any conceivable way. Why go there? It is neither "open" nor "empowering users".

Just the quality of the general openfoodfacts stringbase alone is enough to warrant looking for alternatives. Not my call, but happy to help.
