Problem

Many a times nowadays basic products are sold out, the tag with the price is there on the shelf but no product is available, it could be interesting to log such occurrences.

Additional context

Would probably require the user the be able the record the time in addition to the date, as if the product was restocked later the same day.

I remember that blog"s article ( look up "données de caisse" ) in that case OP would go even deeper, at the self level, price tag is there on the shelf but the shelf is empty.

So far in those cases I refrained to take a pic of the price tag because I believe it's misleading, but I'd like to keep track of those "shadow/micro" shortages.

I think it'd be interesting to be able to log that data, especially in connection with the public talk about price control and the recent price increase in particular commodities ( cocoa, coffee ). I also wonder if the restocking/non restocking could be part of a strategy from the grocer/supermarket to "promote" similar product.

edit : it might it's own proof or at least a contributor warning/guidance, a picture of the empty shelf where the price tag is visible

@dq18 do you think that feature has merit ?
