The Proxmox Mail Gateway VM has currently only a private IP.

We could add a public IP, which could add (in order of importance):

the possibility to use PMG ip filtering directly, and eventually have authentication for non whitelisted address, This would enable using it as a smtp server from a laptop.
the possibility of failover (migrating VM on another host in case of problem)
avoid having to configure iptables forwarding on host

@cquest the first step, is having an ip address, I don't know where you did buy this !
