Why? What's the connection between a barcode that's not in the database yet, and the mobile app?

There already is the browser-native "add to start screen" overlay on the home page (which currently prefers the APK install), and the blue custom "get the Android app" button on every page. Too many many hints towards the native apps could feel pushy to people that prefer to use a website.

As an aside: Personally, I think there could be an advantage in focusing on getting OFF usable as a PWA to avoid developing apps for different platforms instead of leading users away from the website. Concentrate sparse developer resources instead of supporting different features on all platforms.
