When i say beneficial, i mean to the benefit of Open Food Facts.
Official French version : http://www.economie.gouv.fr/dgccrf/Securite/Alertes/Avis-rappels-de-produits
Example Australian version http://www.foodstandards.gov.au/industry/foodrecalls/recalls/Pages/Cadbury-Caramilk-190g.aspx
Decided to ask them if they could adjust their product recall template to include barcodes; ditto the online display.
@teolemon Hi, would be more transparent to add a warning label on product with " derogated " ingredient list or "DEROG" label on the packaging, following the crisis.
In France, some producer can replace oil without updating their ingredients list.
Submitted a new issue for the related topic in my previous comment https://github.com/openfoodfacts/openfoodfacts-server/issues/6703

Food authorities provide a number of way to inform the public about product that have been recalled for health and safety reasons (allergens, bacteria etc.) Here is an example from the UK food agency: http://www.food.gov.uk/about-us/data-and-policies/aboutsite/rss http://www.food.gov.uk/about-us/subscribe I assume other countries have similar bodies doing similar anounce
Providing a label on product known to have been recall would be beneficial
