A csv export is already somewhat possible (open a list on the website and export it from there) but no import

Some of the settings are shared through google play if I remember correctly @g123k do you know which things are the product lists migrated to a new phone

g123k commented 1 year ago

The Google Play feature is only when you change your device. But if you uninstall / reinstall the app, the backup process won't be used. That's why this kind of feature makes sense.

Also related is data portability, plus professional/advanced changes. If I'm not wrong, the CSV export is hidden in the DEV mode

@WhyANameWhy @g123k can you add a 👍 to this issue

g123k commented 3 months ago

I should recheck the import/export feature from Google; it seems it does not work as expected.

teolemon commented 3 months ago

I think we need a Vanilla CSV export feature, for whatever people will choose to do with it.

@galnaf just lost her data after a reinstall (her history and lists) we asked her to do.
