Before the release we should make an extensive test of all Smoothie features to make sure there aren't blockers: crashes, features that don't work at all etc.

Who has a Mac and iPhone to do this test? I don't have one unfortunately.

I have a Mac but no iPhone or iPad, therefore only a simulator and no scan.

Beta versions on iOS can be uploaded in AppStore's TestFlight, where only a limited set of designated testers download the app and test it. That would be a second level of tests, after a first level only with developers.

Someone reported problems on an iOS device:

it's not possible to scan a barcode on (but QR codes work)
the search button brings back some JSON

Trying to get more details of those issues.
