Hi everyone,

It seems wine producers in France will now add a QR Code to a URL: https://www.ladepeche.fr/2023/12/07/vins-ingredients-additifs-calories-ce-changement-qui-va-vous-faire-reflechir-a-deux-fois-avant-de-choisir-votre-bouteille-11626682.php

It would be nice if for the website field, we could directly scan this code.

What UI do we propose here ? @teolemon

something like the old legacy app ? or something minimal like this edit i was thinking?

Yes 👍 In v1, We also add a Google search, not sure how efficient it was https://github.com/openfoodfacts/smooth-app/issues/2738

I would suggest using a barcode instead of this one, which reminds a data matrix

teolemon commented 8 months ago

@g123k in that case that's going to be a QR code rather than a barcode, so it would be right?

Yes, indeed, you're right. I will add one to the icon font.
