VAT breakdown for each product on an invoice should include enterprise fee #176

Open lbwright22 opened 5 years ago

lbwright22 commented 5 years ago

Description

Invoices currently detail the quantity, VAT (VAT from product wholesale price) and total price per product (wholesale price + VAT on whole sale price + enterprise fee + VAT on enterprise fee). This is misleading to the customer. The VAT stated next to each product should be the total VAT for that item (ie VAT on wholesale price + VAT on enterprise fee for the product). The total VAT for the transaction is correct (and not currently a sum of the VAT on each product).

Expected Behavior

The VAT stated next to each product should be the total VAT for that item (ie VAT on wholesale price + VAT on enterprise fee for the product)

Actual Behaviour

Invoices currently detail the quantity, VAT (VAT from product wholesale price) and total price per product (wholesale price + VAT on whole sale price + enterprise fee + VAT on enterprise fee).

Steps to Reproduce

  1. purchase an item from Tamar Valley which is VAT registered
  2. receive confirmation invoice

Context

Invoices are not VAT compliant. Makes OFN more difficult to use for larger enterprises which are VAT registered

Severity

No work around- ie misleading invoices are sent to customers and no opportunity to amend them manually. Small number of users effected but it does effect our biggest enterprises. Please advise.

Possible Fix

hey, I think this is already in the system. I think I discussed this with Myriam in the past. I cant find the issue...

It looks more like an improvement than a bug, right?

This is very far from being easy to fix, the adjustments part of OFN is confusing to say the least...
