Consider alternatives to Outfall #184

Hello,

I strongly suggest the term "outfall" be avoided in the HY Features model. In normal parlance, outfalls are associated with sewage as the place where a sewer empties into a water body, ocean, or stream. Also, "outfall" does connote drainage of a basin.

I suggest instead a more neutral term that does not connote sewage, and yet still connotes draining of an arbitrary basin.

I suggest instead: "POUR POINT”. Another possibility is "OUT FLOW". Another neutral term that does not connote sewage, and yet still connotes draining of an arbitrary basin.

Thank you and best regards,

The proposed solution to this issue is to create a catchment realization called "catchment outlet" and rename the junction between two catchments "hydroNexus".

Response: The SWG has renamed HY_OutFall to HY_HydroNexus, have a HY_HydroLocation in place of HY_OutfallRealization, and added an HY_HydroLocation type of pour point in addition to outlet and others to encompass the concept of pour point. OutFall is no longer used as a normative term in the specification.
