Do we need a disclaimer saying that we have assumed that any times or timing in the pubsub processes assumes that the clock(s) have been synchronized? And that any times or timing are much less precise than the clocks, because as soon as things move relative to each other and at speeds significant compared to the times involved, clocks cannot be synchronized, unless we assume infinite signalling speeds.
This predates Einstein, and relativity is an extra layer of complexity, invalidating the synchronization assumption..
As pub/sub is event driven and any time dependant processing of data, such as for meteorology, is hidden inside the message, this is not an issue. Agreed to close at EDR API SWG 93, 2023-02-09
