Please keep this Issue open until 2021-01-08.

The executable test suite of the OGC GeoTIFF 1.1 standard is now available on the Beta OGC validator https://cite.opengeospatial.org/te2/

The first three implementations to pass 100% of the compliance procedure, while the test is in beta, will have their Trademark License Fee waived through the annual licensing period for the product.

You are invited to submit your implementations of OGC GeoTIFF 1.1 for testing and certification.

Once you have tested your implementation, go to the OGC online certification system to provide information about your product http://www.opengeospatial.org/resource/products/registration

If you encounter any problems, please let us know at compliance@ogc.org

DGIWG migrated somme samples into GeoTIFF 1.1 (including elevation data) and tested them successfully. It has sent 2 elevation samples to the CITE team (EGM96 and WGS84 ellipsoidal height).

@EmDevys Please enter details of the product used to convert the samples at https://www.ogc.org/resource/products/registration

If the software is developed by a third-party organisation, please ask them to enter details of their product.

The software used to convert the samples from GeoTIFF 1.0 to GeoTIFF 1.1 is geotifcp from the libgeotiff (OSGEO) library cf. https://github.com/OSGeo/libgeotiff GDAL is using this library and GDAL is the 1st implementation of GeoTIFF 1.1 see https://www.ogc.org/resource/products/byspec/?specid=1019

Should I ask Even Rouault / OSGEO to register the libgeotiff as well ?
