Indoor location, mapping, and navigation relies upon multiple positioning technologies and highly variable completeness of indoor map data. An ideal testing environment to demonstrate technology and interoperability of data and systems should have a consistent foundation data set and be physically-accessible. This submission proposes to use a well-mapped campus in San Francisco for physical demonstration of positioning and navigation technologies and as the basis for development of additional enabling and interoperable data sets. This submission can augment Idea #7 (Advance indoor location to support public safety first responders).
