Dear NetCDF-LD Editors,

Please find the following comments in response to the call for the Public Comment on the NetCDF-LD Candidate Standard.

PART A

  1. Evaluator: [Peng Yue]

  2. Submission: [19-002, OGC Encoding Linked Data Graphs in NetCDF Files]

PART B

  1. Requirement: [General, #]

  2. Implementation Specification Section number: [General, #6.4] Is it possilbe for the RDF Vocabularies to consider geo data cube practices?

  3. Criticality: [Major, Minor, Editorial, etc.] Minor

  4. Comments/justifications for changes: [Comments] When defining standards such as NetCDF-LD and possible future work on HDF5-LD, GeoTIFF-LD, can we consider geo data cube vocabulary by consolidating practices in [1-4]? NetCDF4/HDF5 files was used in the open data cube before. In this way richer semantics can be involved in data provision.

Related to #118 since Allotrope uses W3C CUBE as part of its HDF5 semantic representation.
