Hi Nick,
We can also add Apache Marmotta to the list as they support GeoSPARQL (to some degree).

No worries, thanks Rob
Another triple store supporting GeoSPARQL is Parliament. https://github.com/SemWebCentral/parliament I am not sure if it is too actively maintained though.
Can we add Oracle to the list? GeoSPARQL has been fully supported since version 12.1.
There is also STRABON from the University of Athens http://www.strabon.di.uoa.gr/home.html
@nicholascar -- Appropriate contact people for Virtuoso will vary with the question/topic, including myself, @hughwilliams, @openlink, @pkleef, @IvanMikhailov, and potentially others.
I suggest changing the "SWG Member" column to also use Github handles.
Can we add Oracle to the list
Of course, duh, Spatial & Graph! I used to managed one such system...
Have added and put you in as the contact person!
@TallTed thanks, I'll contact you and/or the others shortly. All about Virtuoso possibly supporting GeoSPARQL 1.1 and then 1.2 or 2.0.
Just a note about Marmotta: There have been no updates to the Marmotta GitHub since 2016. The GeoSPARQL functionality is unsupported across all branches of the Marmotta source code except one called MARMOTTA-584, which hasn't been updated since 2015.

Of course everyone knows about this useful section in the white paper 'OGC Benefits of Representing Spatial Data Using Semantic and Graph Technologies'? Marmotta was excluded on purpose because GeoSPARQL support did not really take off. Since publication of the white paper, one other product came to light: Triplydb. It supports GeoSPARQL too, but it seems to do so based on Virtuoso Open Source. Still, I think it would be good to liaise with Triply nonetheless, because they are invested in GeoSPARQL from the data consumption side: YASGUI is a SPARQL editor with GeoSPARQL support and visualization of spatial query results. If we haven't done so already I think it will be smart to maintain contact with SPARQL or GIS client software that supports GeoSPARQL too.
Hi folks, happy to hear what's going on. My expertise on GeoSPARQL specifics is not high but happy to get involved where I can.
As an aside I notice you have the wrong github handle for Jena's Andy Seaborne, it's @afs .
Thanks @jeenbroekstra.
Please add @galbiston for Apache Jena as well.
Triply is apparently a collection of UI/UX work, which sits atop multiple engines, including Virtuoso. Currently it seems to select the engine to invoke based on the data the visitor wants to work with. (Some of this is guesswork, based on the unclear docs they currently have, and some is confirmed by recent correspondence which indicates they are or will be updating their docs/site soon.)
Timo contacted me directly and I will be the Virtuoso contact for this effort

I maintain GeoPubby (Linked data Frontend), SemanticWFS (WFS Adapter for linked data) and a SPARQL Plugin for QGIS, all of which I have already extended to be compatible with GeoJSON literals for GeoSPARQL 1.1 and which I consider to further extend along with the progress in this working group if necessary.
I've made some updates to the contact table based on comments I read above.
I would encourage all of the implementers to register their products on the OGC Compliance database.
Currently only a few implementers are listed. See https://www.ogc.org/resource/products/compliant?display_opt=3&specid=528
Register at https://www.ogc.org/resource/products/registration
For triplydb: @wouterbeek
For Graphdb: @semanticfire I believe you also had a contact there?
Also, Marklogic might be interested. I had a contact there (@taatuut), but I believe he left.
GeoSPARQL was used to develop the spatio-temporal extension (CRMgeo) to the CIDOC CRM ontology, as used in the cultural heritage sector. So not an implementer in the sense of software supporting GeoSPARQL. But there are information systems likely using CRMgeo, which imports GeoSPARQL. Key contacts would be Martin Doerr at ICS Forth and Gerald Hiebel at Innsbruck.
Hi @nicholascar,
I am responsible for the Ontop project, which can virtually expose relational databases as RDF graphs and queryable by SPARQL. In the past, in collaboration with the University of Athens, we have experimentally implemented an extension of Ontop (http://ontop-spatial.di.uoa.gr/) with GeoSPARQL support. It is described in [1]. It was a separate development and is currently outdated.

Recently we have reimplemented GeoSPARQL support in Ontop v4. The implementation is done and we expect to release it in Jan/Feb in the standard distribution of Ontop. We are currently experimenting with the LinkedGeoData project to make OpenStreetMap data queriable from GeoSAPRQL.
I would be happy if can contribute to GeoSPARQL in any form.
Cheers,
Guohui
@lvdbrink I contacted Stardog, haven't heard back, I'll try another contact
Is it relevant to contact the developers behind GeoSPARQL conversion libraries such as TripleGeo and GeoTriples? If so, anyone who has contacts?
Another triple store supporting GeoSPARQL is Parliament. https://github.com/SemWebCentral/parliament I am not sure if it is too actively maintained though.
If possible, the developers of Parliament should be contacted. They are also listed on OGCs products page regarding implementations of GeoSPARQL, besides Oracle Spatial and Graph and Compusult Web Enterprise Suite. The latter should probably also be contacted
Hi @nicholascar I confirm I'll be a contact point for Ontotext.
We've recently integrated ONTOP for virtualization and I've read with a lot of interest @ghxiao 's announcement. Is that new version available?
Hi @VladimirAlexiev The code of GeoSPARQL support in Ontop is already merged into the main branch (https://github.com/ontop/ontop/tree/version4). We are going to make a stable release 4.1 soon after some bugs in other parts of Ontop are fixed. Currently, it is available for testing also at Docker hub: https://hub.docker.com/repository/docker/ontop/ontop-endpoint with the tag 4.1-snapshot
. We have already deployed it in a few projects.
For STRABON, Kostis Kyzirakos (@kkyzir) might be the one to get in touch with. I talked to him a few times (years ago now though).
RdfDotNet - Kal Ahmed was in touch with me not too long ago so you could put me as the SWG member to contact him.
Ontop could also be added to the table at the top, it's still missing.
Hi ,
for STRABON it is Kostis and his advisor Manolis Koumbarakis. I know both quite well and I can talk to them if you like.
Best, Dimitris

The correct contact for Parliament is indeed myself (@IanEmmons).
All updates from comments until this point added to the table - thanks contributors!

Hi @VladimirAlexiev I am happy to announce that Ontop 4.1 is released, and now GeoSPARQL is officially supported in Ontop. The highlights of the new implementation details are documented in the recent publication:
Thanks!
Hi, I am not really sure and familiar if this is a worthy source to share in this context.
LOC was asking for a review of recommended format statement (RFS) in a mailing list. I also looked into geospatial formats at all formats (FDD) from another page at LOC and GeoSPARQL is not mentioned.
You could evaluate this spot for now or later purpose for sharing. I contacted the initiator of RFS to get back in contact. If you think its worthy you could also try via contacts for a update in FDD.
@Seandebasti thanks for the pointers to a very important Linked Data adopter, the LOC. I guess, until this post, this Issue has focused on implementers of GeoSPARQL 1.0 and potential implementers of GeoSPARQL 1.1's functions, however we will also need implementers of the new ontology elements as well. Recommendations by Linked Data publishers to use the new elements and, better, evidence that the new elements are actually implemented, are important and, I suppose, this is the category that the LOC fits into.
Following your suggestion, I will contact the FDD contact point and ask them to list GeoSPARQL (1.1).
Soon we will make a table of individual elements of GeoSAPRQL 1.1 implemented by implementers and, perhaps then, we can look for who might be potential implementers of the new elements.
I am submitting two files, a JavaScript file and text description, of our USGS GeoSPARQL custom implementation. FYI Dalia Varanka (dvaranka@usgs.gov) for USGS GeoSPARQL Implementation.zip
Tanner Fry (tfry@contractor.usgs.gov), Jacques Bourquin (jbourquin@contractor.usgs.gov)
Dear Implementers, GeoSPARQL 1.1 is now in public comment phase, please see the Press Release here:
If you would like to comment on the standard in its essentially final form, please do so now! Thanks.
