30-OCT-2023: q parameter PR will update to reflect the logical that comma-separated terms are OR'ed and terms with white spaces are matched as a single term but any number of white spaces separating the terms. @pvretano to update PR to reflect this logic.

13-NOV-2023: @pvretano to update the PR to (a) remove the use of "logical AND" since what is described with relation to white space separated search terms is not really and logical AND and (b) remove item "D" from the "q" definition. After those changes have been made, this PR can be merged.

I didn't get to checking whether this has any implications to the STAC extension, sorry. It might need some additional clarifications regarding the space I assume: https://github.com/cedadev/stac-freetext-search#basic

SWG meeting 11-DEC-2023: The concensus of the SWG is to merge with the understanding that the wording in the requirements could be simplified. We will merge and then await feedback from reviewers on this point.
