Temporal aspects of Symbology? #7

What temporal aspects should be considered for symbology?

Is there any type of time-based selector capabilities, or would that all be addressed by relying on the geospatial data itself changing with time?

Would there be some symbolizer capabilities featuring a temporal aspect ? (e.g. animated symbol?) Gobe: Look into CityGML dynamizer concept for 4D.

What relation is there with 3D?

@jerstlouis As well as my comment on Issue #3 , point features on a map (0D) usually have a 2D symbol, or changing over time so 3D (e.g. thumbnail video, animated symbol) and the timescale of the symbol is largely independent from the timescale of feature change.
