Data lost during synchronization #429

Open Ipickedausername opened 1 year ago

Hello,

This week we had to work as a team, and we decided to use Qfield Cloud. When the data was done recording, I synchronized the data.

On the new project, I can no longer see the recorded data. Everything from yesterday disappeared.

Maybe I did a false manipulation, I'm not really sure. Do you have any idea where it could come from ?

On QGIS, the synchronizing widow doesn't show the layer that we need: "Centroid_Grid_100x100".

The project name is: Siargao_MangroveHeath_UST User: jeb

Thanks.

@Ipickedausername when you say "everything diappeared", do you still see your modifications in the the web interface, in the "Project -> changes" page?

I see you had three rounds of pushing chnages, one at 2022-10-24 06:08 GMT, one 2022-10-24 14:03 and the largest one at 2022-10-27 14:16. Which one is problematic? The last one has quite some conflicts there.

I see a large amount of lines in "Changes". The last one was problematic. The pictures and info of the different layers have been synchronized, except features from the layer "centroid_grid_100x100".

The work consists in updating a list of centroids. All the centroids have empty fields at the begining and we fill them as we visit each centroid.

I just remembered that i ticked the option to manually check the conflicts. Maybe it comes from it. But I don't know how to solve the conflicts.

I can't resolve the conflicts. When I change something I have "Server Error (500)"

Did you find a way to resolve this? I experience the same issue: I pushed various changes, and the app told me everything was OK. But when I tried to sync the project on my computer, nothing came in. I went on the web interface to find that every push since last week were blocked with a "Error" message... but I have no clue as of what kind of error. The data is quite simple, points and line with some text.

Of course, when I tried to sync the app, I did lose all the info I had captured there. I tried to apply changes manually on the web interface, but to no avail.

Hi, Personally, I stopped using Qfield cloud. I had many issues. I still have to make new tests about this issue.
