The 3d functionallity is a broken. This is the case for the controlls which behave very weirdly and also inconsistently at different scales. sometimes light sources get randomly deleted. Terrain shading funcionality seems to be not working. The rendering resolution seems to be very low, which only gets better when use zoom close. just to name a few of them. i havent used qgis 3d view since the big update which was supposed to fix this stuff according to the changelogs, as it was completely broken on mac. So i can not confirm if this is mac os specific.
It doesnt crash the programm anymore which is very nice.
