HEUR is actually a really rather common virus that began around windows 7
I've found it on computers from win7 to win10 In serious infections multiple critical system files will be infected, not all the files can be healed and some can't be directly removed via a AV scanner
In my experience, reformating the disk drive then reinstalling windows completely removes the virus.
Definitely not one to underestimate.
For some reason Kaspersky Antivirus detects HEUR Trojan in built binary of sdfdemo. More info at: virustotal.
