[somfytahoma] Compatibility of the addon with new (Sep. 23) Tahoma platform not documented #17010

Since September 2023 Somfy has been advertising a new mobile app that requires (quoting the instructions) a migration of the current Tahoma configuration, which in turn will disable the functionality of controlling Tahoma from a PC.

I couldn't find any mention of this in the addon documentation. I am hesitant to perform the migration to the new Tahoma mobile app out of concerns it might break the openhab integration, which is essential to me. It would be extremely helpful for me, if the documentation could state whether the migration can be performed without endangering the addon functionality.

The classic app I am currently using: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.somfy.tahoma The new app Somfy is suggesting to switch to: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.somfy.homeapp

I just stumbled over the same thing. As I just got my Tahoma Automation Kit Recently, I directly installed the new "Tahoma by Somfy" App. Obviously, the credentials of the new Apps account can not be used at classic.tahomalink.com so the login fails. According to the (German) FAQ of Somfy, it is possible to downgrade to Tahoma Classic. Will try that somewhen next week. Some hint in the documentation would be helpful, as it was also not obvious from Somfy's side that there is 2 different Accounts without doing quite some research
