When trying to set characteristics of Lighting Group, Cannot create accessory Item:chair_lamp (Type=GroupItem, Members=3, State=NULL, Label=Chair Lamp, Category=, Tags=[Lightbulb], Groups=[living_room]) HomeKit type: 'Lighting' characteristic: 'Empty'

Expected Behavior

characteristics should be set

Current Behavior

characteristics are not set from item group

Steps to Reproduce (for Bugs)

1.Assign Metadata 2.Submit 3.Metadata says updated 4.No data saved []

Version used: openHAB 4.2.1

Multiple related improvements have been merged. Could you try to reproduce with 4.3.0 Milestone 1 or later?
