7 months ago It could very well be the gradle plugin (nebula.ospackage) you use to build the rpm or the actual builder (redline) the plugin uses isn't up-to-date with the rpm specification. I notice the builder hasn't been updated since 2021. This issue on the gradle plugin mentions rerunning the build, which only fails once in while. Not a fantastic solution, but maybe worth a try?

7 months ago Thanks for your analysis, @danieldemus. Yes, rerunning the build is definitely an option - I just did so with https://ci.openhab.org/view/Release%20Jobs/job/openhab-linuxpkg-release/29/. Could you check if this solves the issue for the 4.0.4 release?
