Does that mean you support the idea of putting 2.1.0-2 on testing and stable? Or should I stick to the testing branch, and say it's for testing/snapshot branches only?

Hmmm wasn't sure about it. How about testing now and stable in a week or so? This way we'd leverage the actual purpose of the testing branch 😉

Ah, I want to add a more general comment: I think it's always a good idea to report improvements to the community, whichever size.
