Yes, I work on it!
I did something awful and I am ashamed to tell you.... I installed newest software on my CCU without making any Backup.
Homematic changed some security-things and my CCU is now offline in openHAB. I followed the tips, but nothing helped.
The good news: This seems to be solved in 2.4 The bad news: my disk station does not support docker and you are now the only hope to safe my marriage.
No pressure ;-)
@cniweb : Due to a hardware failure of my RPi running the openHAB 2.4.0 release, I must install the 2.4.0 on my Synology NAS to exit this critical situation... May be someone else is also in a similar situation, that the only reason why I share the following information. I have a great respect of your work and of your commitment to share your work to the community and I thank you for that. I hope you'll understand.
Are you in too much of a hurry to wait for @cniweb to release his final version of the 2.4.0 package? Do It Yourself! It's quite simple by using the @cniweb's 2.3.0.005 Syno package... but as it's an ugly hack of his great work, use this hack only in case of emergency and when @cniweb has had time to finish his official release with his tools updated, please install his official release.
The 1st thing you have to know is that an spk
file is just a renamed tar
file. The 2nd is that the openHAB package is not included in the Syno package. Using path information located in just two files, the Syno Package Manager downloads all needed files from an official repository and installed them.
So if you can't wait, you just have to:
2.3.0.005
by 2.4.0.000
and 2.3.0
by 2.4.0
in the scripts/installer.sh
and INFO
filesINFO
file to update the release notesspk
That's all... but before installing this ugly hacked package, don't forget to make a backup of your data. Hope this helps.
@olivierov We are currently in vacation... but when we are back, I will most likely have such an emergency.
@cniweb no stress, but when do you plan to release the update? i want to fix the sonos issue with the new release but don't want to hack your package :)
@olivierov Have you considered creating a pull request? Would that help @cniweb get an official release faster?
Also, I presume the conf, userdata and addons folders don't get touched by the update?
I draft a new release: https://github.com/openhab/openhab-syno-spk/releases/tag/2.4.0.000
openHAB 2.4.0 has been released, see here: https://github.com/openhab/openhab-distro/releases/tag/2.4.0
Can you please support this new official release? Thanks a lot
