I had an Idea about changing the zwave network view. Now we see the the controller on top and the nodes on the first line. So we see the connections to the controller. But it's hard to see the connections from the other nodes to each other.
But if this is not possible, a good workaround would be the option to select the node and put it on top. So we can see the node connections to the rest off the network.

Ideally we would have something like this: https://gojs.net/latest/samples/distances.html You can even see the hops.
