apple-touch-icon has transparent background #236

Especially on a dark background, e.g. start page of Firefox with dark theme, the apple-touch-icon of the website is hard to see. Here's a comparison of these icons from community.openhab.org (left), openhab.org (middle) and openHAB Server 2.5 (right): grafik

Is it possible to provide different touch icons for light and dark themes?

I've found a blog post stating that the apple-touch-icon shouldn't have a transparent background: https://realfavicongenerator.net/blog/apple-touch-icon-turns-black/

I don't think so and I haven't found anything on the internet.

I think we should just use the same icon as Discourse then.

You could use https://realfavicongenerator.net/ to generate this and similar icons.
