Attempting to subscribe to the newsletter causes Mailman error #1811

On http://openhatch.org/ , when I enter my email and hit the "Subscribe" button, I am getting

Bug in Mailman version 2.1.15

We're sorry, we hit a bug!

Please inform the webmaster for this site of this problem. Printing of traceback and other system information has been explicitly inhibited, but the webmaster can find this information in the Mailman error logs.

OK, I have now seen the notice(s) about winding down. Pity but understandable, and it explains why newsletter subscriptions might not work any more.
