I'll plan to move these to Rackspace Cloud Files for approximately 84 cents a
month in hosting. Then they'll stop cluttering up space on linode.openhatch.org.
I'm probably the only one who cares about this, but here are my concerns:
With Rackspace Cloud Files, we can't create an "index.html" page, so we can't
realistically use it for hosting the entire inside.openhatch.org site
With Amazon S3, we can do that.
With either one, if they delete our files, we're toast. So we need a backups
strategy that keeps a second copy of our files there. We can do that with either
one as part of the current backups strategy, where we put things on rsync.net.
I think this is the plan I will implement:
Move most of inside.openhatch.org into the "Static website hosting" system we
use now where nearlyfreespeech.net hosts sites for us
For the big files in inside.openhatch.org, we should move them away from
linode.openhatch.org and be sure to have a backup
And I won't do it today, so moving out of 0.12.02.

http://inside.openhatch.org/snapshots/
could live on OSL's mirror infrastructure.
Next step: Someone asks them if we may push stuff there!
