Between @gvwilson's pycon talk and this book I am convinced we need to make our curriculum more social.

This is a really vague item for an issue, though. Probably the best first step is to have an email thread and/or IRC meeting to discuss specific options.

I'm going to set an arbitrary goal of having 2/3rds of our curriculum activities have a pair/small group version.
