IE8 Testing

In light of possible need to move back to IE8 I have opened this issue to list IE8 specific problems.

I have tried out the heroku version on IE8 via Browser stack. Apart from some lag all the functions appear to work except : Persistence of newly added data e.g Create new patient + Tag to Virology Move off the page (e.g open search page or single patient view) Return to Virology page Patient not there

• Load heroku version on Chrome and patient is there
• Return to IE8, Clear cache in IE8 and reload and then the patient appears again

This happens not just with new patients but any data entered , e.g add a new diagnosis, move away and it disappears (although still really there just not visible) clear cache and reload and then it appears again.

The other things from memory that don't work on IE8

• the date calendars don't come up
• there is a problem with contextual results in investigations. E.g. If choose respiratory virus PCR, there was a problem with choosing right result.
