Common occurrence: "oh, there's a new patient you don't know about that has just been admitted, can I discuss him?".
Options are
A) come out of virtual ward round, add new patient as per usual, and then resume virtual ward round.
B) Add a patient from within virtual ward round.
What is not possible is to just save adding new patients to the end of the ward round, because the clinicians during the round change - i.e. the one who wants to add one more patient may not be there at the end of the ward round.
This is a bit of harm specific example, but know this happens also in OPAT meetings, TB clinic, etc...
