(22:18:31) Sam Smith: we need to know who has submitted things, without access to any external auth mechanisms. (22:18:51) Sam Smith: so we require an email address as the sole thing on page 1. (22:19:08) Sam Smith: We then send that link an email, which lets them edit their public record. (22:19:20) Sam Smith: there's no login mechanism (22:19:34) Sam Smith: if they need a new login link, they put their email address in again, and get a new link (22:20:05) Sam Smith: we then limit the list of domains that we accept as valid (nhs.uk, ac.uk, doctors.org.uk are probably the 3 in the first instance). Doing anything more than that will depend on the sustainability for this in the longer term
